How to Make THC Crystals

Making Crystals at Home It's quite simple if you know how to prepare BHO or live resin. These are in fact the concentrates you can start with to make crystals.

Here are the steps:

1. Prepare your BHO or live resin starting from a good quantity of high quality cannabis flowers.
2. Pour the BHO into a glass jar while it is still viscous and easy to shape. Close the lid and store in a warm place (the ideal temperature is 26-28 degrees).
3. At these temperatures the pressure inside the jar will increase, so make sure you open the container every two daysThe jar should be left to rest for a period of approximately 2-3 weeks.
4. At high temperatures, terpenes, present in large quantities in BHO and live resin, tend to volatilize, creating a surface layer of “terp sauce”, as it is called. Under this viscous layer THCA “collapses” forming actual crystals.
5. The resulting mixture of crystals and terp sauce should now be vacuum purified. To do this you will need a heating mat and a vacuum chamber. Place the jar inside the vacuum chamber and place the chamber on the heating mat. Set the vacuum pump to 15hg (equals ~0.50b or 2000Pa) and the heating mat to 28°C and let it purge for 24 hours.
6. Terp sauce can be separated from crystals, if you want to consume the latter pure, or it can be left on them for a greater aromatic effect.Terpenes are in fact the main responsible for the taste of cannabis and this is also true when consuming concentrates.

The same process used to prepare THCA/THC crystals can be used to prepare fantastic CBD crystals starting from specially selected buds.

Are Cannabis Crystals Legal?
